Hello its Zi again. I have noticed only some people actively using our website while others are still completely unaware we even have a website (despite it being operational for a month and the link to here being in guild info). I would like more people to take advantage of the website and prizes involved through its use. Not only is it a good tool to get information (class/spec/professions/rules/etc.) but also for posting your own questions or comments and receiving prizes and awards for doing so. Our newest prize went to Vrodar because in one month he posted seven times about the guild bank, professions, classes, etc. He won with only seven posts that add to the information on the website…that’s how easy it is to win prizes. You can even post in under Guildy Appreciation into the ideas/questions/comments forum to tell me what prizes people should get (meaning you want it!).

The following is a list of some perks to using guild website and participating in guildy days (all prizes are a minimum of 50g value):

*Win prizes for guessing correctly (or closest guess) in guild and wow trivia.
*Win prizes for being active on the site (most amount of meaningful posts in a month)
*Win prizes for using website content (hidden until someone wins)
*Win prizes for being active/winning contests during guildy appreciation days
*Win prizes for activity during guildy appreciation days/guild achievement days
*Help Win a prize for a fellow guildy (or they one for you) by posting on the Notice Board
*Win Titles and Awards once enough active users are on the site to activate...First annual LP GUILDY AWARDS!
  This includes officer and member votes for awarding guildies titles/awards (all you have to do is vote for this
  one!)

So please take advantage of all these prizes that only 2 people have so far gained. Ayefkay won guild title "Crew Oriented Pirate," 500g, 20 healing potions, and 20 Draconic Elixirs for being first to post on guildy appreciation and first to eagerly spread the word about the website. Vrodar won 12 hours of Zi’s life for being most active poster on the website in December.

If you have not taken advantage of prizes because you don’t know where to find them here is a quick list of where to find things on the guild website (note: navigation bar refers to the bar along the top of site that reads Home, Roster, Shoutbox, Calendar, etc):

*Guild Need to Know Rules and other info (found on the navigation bar)- About LP, Ranks (includes officer and
    leader duties and what each rank means), GUILD RULES (includes GUILD BANK RULES and is required by
    all members to view), Raiding Rules (required by all raiders to view), and Awards (who has won what and titles).

*Guildy Appreciation Content (found by clicking FORUMS found on the navigation bar, scrolling down to Guildy
    Appreciation with sub forums)-
  Current/Past Guildy Appreciation Day (GAD) includes: WOW/GUILD TRIVIA and how GAD went.
  Upcoming Guildy Appreciation Day includes: ideas for the next event and what it will be, post what you want!
  Awards includes: who was awarded and current ideas for awards/titles.
  Your Ideas and Questions/Comments includes: GUILDY APPRECIATION NOTICE BOARD (where you post
    each month who is a helpful guildy so they might win for the month) and General questions about guildy
    appreciation.

*Other good to know content is that by clicking FORUMS, found in the navigation bar, there are forums for
    general guild information (including forums for each class and profession), forums for raiding/5mans (instance
    tips, past raid run down, etc), and IRL forums for talking about news and what is going on you want to share.
  Also go to FYI, Changes under general guild forum to know if any rules changes have occured. There will
    always be a one week grace period for new changes unless everyone has been notified ahead of time.

*Gallary (link to it on front page under Random Picture which is under the navigation bar)- People have yet to
    post new photos of them and guildies having fun or being blood thirsty pirates! Please show us what you’re up
    to!

*Poll (found on right side of site in a box under LP Shoutbox)- become active on soon to be implemented
    award/title voting!

*Addons (found on navigation bar and on right side of site in a box under the poll box)- Find addons that are
    required or good to have (hover your mouse pointer over the addons in the Addon Box for a quick sentence
    about who they are for and what they do).

*Links (found on left side of site in its own box under progression and vent boxes)- a list of useful websites!

Hello Guildies,

As you should know, Thoranis has retired and I am now your new Captain (Guild Leader). I have revamped the site and it should be working now. Should you find any mistakes or things to be adjusted please contact me in game or put up a post. Not only have I new plans for the Guild Website but also for creating a more structured and member oriented Guild Leadership style.

New things will include Class and Profession Leaders, these are not officer positions but people who want to help others with questions about classes and professions (some may be officers as well as Leaders though). Also I am implementing officer duties so that each has a job to do and so are deserving of officer benefits. The use of forums will again be utilized so members can voice questions or concerns and also have a place for discussion when they are not on WoW. Finally, we will implement Guildy Appreciation Days, these were thought of back in late BC and early WotLK but I could never implement it without the other officers' help and drive to do so. Guildy Appreciation is all about officers appreciating the time members put into the guild and about members being positive towards one another. I have always felt the guild to be my extended family and I feel this new aspect of our guild will help build bonds and be fun at the same time. Guildy Appreciation will include: Days where we do dungeons/PvP/achievements together, fun runs (like when we played hide and seek in duskwood and did scavenger hunts in tanaris/ungoro), and awards/prizes to people who show positive guildy support and for winning games. Please go to Guildy Appreciation Tab to add any questions/comments/ideas to what we can do that would be fun and helpful to the guild members.

As my last topic, I would like to congratulate all of our first level 85s and encourage more people to hurry to max level. We will not be doing 25mans at this time but plan on having multiple 10mans when people are geared and ready. Please look up our new guild rules and raid rules to be sure you are ready to join us! And if you don’t see any raid invite in the next 2 weeks or so and you are 85, contact an officer.
